For students & volunteers

Student / Volunteer Request Form needs to be approved first before the student can commence. Please submit form to facilities@inghaminstitute.org.au.

Facility access
Smart Access Card & Metal Key (New or Replacement)
If you have lost your keys or access card, please report to the reception, immediately.
Please note, there is a $25 deposit (fully refundable) for issuing of access cards to students.
A fee of $25 is charged to anyone who requires a replacement.

Access card request form
Please note, access into the wet labs will only be programmed once you have attended the wet lab induction and submitted the signed induction form.
Please also note that access to Biological Resource Unit (BRU) requires signature approval on the form by the BRU manager.
For after hours access, please see below.
Metal key request form
Please indicate the room number or the number noted on the metal key.
To request new or copies of cabinet keys, please note the number located by the keyhole or on the key. Cabinets refer to the ones under or by a workstation.
After hours access
The normal working hours are from 7 am to 7 pm, Monday to Friday.
After hours is anytime outside of these working hours, including the weekend.
To request after hours access, please download the request form and send it to the Facility Officer at facilities@inghaminstiute.org.au for approval.
Approved After hours access is between 6 am to 10 pm, Monday to Friday or 7 days.
Please note, incomplete forms will not get approved, hence will not be processed.
